Is the Actinage Peel painful?
No, the peel is not painful. You will not feel discomfort during the peel nor with he home care products.
Can it be done on all skin types?
Yes, Actinage is designed to treat all skin types.
How often can it be done?
Actinage can be repeated every 2 to 3 weeks if necessary.
How long will I peel?
Everyones skin responds differently but most experience light peeling anywhere from 3 to 5 days.
What does Actinage treat?
Actinage treats mild to moderate acne, fine lines, texture and mild pigment associated with acne.
What should I expect during the Actiage treatment?
In the office, we apply a solution to the face for 10 minutes. This solution is then removed with a pad that contains vitamin A solution. The Vitamin A solution will remain on the face for 2 hours, then the patient will wash the this solution off their face at home. The skin looks shiny and moist, otherwise, it is not noticeable when leaving the office. The patient is given a full regimen of products and easy to follow instruction sheet for take home and treatment for the 2 to 3 weeks following the treatment.
