Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Having lax skin and an accumulation of fat around the belly (abdomen), negatively affects the proportions of the body and one’s self image. This most commonly occurs after pregnancy but can be equally prevalent in men, especially after weight loss. An Abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat, flattening the belly and improving the proportions of the trunk and hips. This procedure is also very helpful in removing skin damaged with stretch marks or repairing the core muscles that have been stretched during pregnancy. The resultant scar from an abdominoplasty is hidden very low within the underwear or bikini line. An abdominoplasty is often combined with a liposuction procedure to further improve the contour of the hips, back and buttocks.
Liposuction (Liposculpting)
Excess fat deposits in the body, specifically in the subcutaneous tissue, create undesirable contours and negatively affect the appearance one’s body. Liposculpting offers a method of removing unwanted fat deposits on the neck, abdomen, hips, buttocks, arms and legs which have been unresponsive to diet and exercise. Sculpting of these areas, improves the contours, offering a toned and youthful appearance. The incisions used for these procedures are very small and placed inconspicuous areas. Furthermore, with the advancement of laser assisted liposuction (Smart Lipo), the recovery time for this procedure has been drastically reduced.
VASER Lipo & SmartLipo (Laser Liposuction)
VASER Lipo and SmartLipo™ are new Laser Body Sculpting procedures with less down time and side effects than traditional liposuction. They are both very effective in body areas that are not suitable for traditional liposuction, such as the face, neck, back and knees. Unlike traditional liposuction that requires a hospital stay, VASER lipo and SmartLipo are performed as an out-patient procedures under local anesthesia. Arm, Leg and Body Lift
Commonly following a sizeable weight loss or with the changes that occur with age, laxity of the skin and soft tissue of the body and extremities becomes notable. In these select cases, removal of the excess skin and fat is recommended. Depending on the location, the incisions are placed within the creases of the skin or within clothing lines. Liposuction is often included in the procedure and the results are often transformative.
