Dr. W. Jason Martin, who currently practices in Aspen, Colorado, is now expanding his very successful cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practice to our community. Renowned for his cosmetic surgical procedures, Dr. Martin utilizes the most innovative minimally invasive techniques to achieve exceptional, natural looking results for his patients. He is highly regarded for his attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of the aging process and dedication to patient education. Along with his thriving aesthetic surgery practice, Dr. Martin also specializes in reconstructive procedures for face and hand injuries and is an expert in reconstructive procedures related to breast cancer.
Upon completing his general surgery residency and a plastic surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Martin had the honor of being selected for post-fellowship training in cosmetic surgery at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York, New York. He was one of only two plastic surgeons in the United States selected for this position. After practicing in New York, Dr. Martin, his wife and two children moved to Aspen, Colorado in 2007 to establish his practice. In addition to his work at Aspen Valley Hospital, he serves on multiple medical advisory boards including Komen Aspen and has authored numerous professional journal and book publications.
Most exciting for VITAHL is that Dr. Martin will now be offering Smartlipo and Vaser body sculpting procedures in our office. These truly unique procedures remove unwanted areas of fat while tightening the skin. All procedures are completed in the office, with the assistance of local anesthesia and require minimal recovery time.
