The procedure is simple and effective. First, the selected area is filled with a tumescent saline solution that helps numb the site and shrink the blood vessels which minimizes blood loss and reduces bruising. The solution wets and fills the area to be treated, making it easier to break up the fatty tissue with the VASER Lipo’s ultrasound energy. A small probe then transmits sound energy to break up and liquefy fat on contact, while preserving other important tissues. Lastly, the liquefied fat is removed through a gentle suction process designed to minimize trauma to surrounding tissue structures and provide you with a smoother, slimmer new shape.
